Online filtration protects components from acute wear, but only bypass filtration can guarantee long-term fluid conditioning HYDAC bypass filters work independently of the system and the pulsation-free flow allows them to achieve separation rates that would be almost physically impossible in the main flow.
Bypass filters are used to filter the hydraulic or lubricating oil in a separate circuit, reduce the workload of the online oil filters and increase the availability of the system while lowering operating costs.
Using HYDAC bypass filtration makes it possible not only to comply with the target cleanliness class required by ISO 4406 but also to consistently achieve even greater levels of cleanliness. This results in a significant optimisation of the entire system operation. Overall, the reduced wear in the system and system components and the longer oil service life permanently reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the system.
