Bladder accumulators
HYDAC bladder accumulators are pressure vessels equipped with a flexible elastomer bladder that strictly separates the gaseous nitrogen cushion and the hydraulic operating fluid. Unlike piston accumulators, they provide separation with extremely low inertia, which enables excellent response characteristics in the case of high-frequency pressure changes. This makes them the perfect solution for storing energy in systems with rapid work cycles and for effectively damping pulsations in pump circuits. The bladder accumulator is also generally resistant to contaminations in the operating fluid.Â
