Our HP compact power units are small electrohydraulic supply units of power class 0.3 to 1.6 kW for supplying three-phase voltage, featuring energy-efficient intermittent and short-term operation. Because of the high operating pressure and the use of oil-submersed motors, the power units achieve a high power density. As steel tanks are used, the power units are highly robust and highly stable. The HP power units are perfect for stationary applications, such as for tensioning and clamping functions in machine tools and lifting and swivelling mechanisms. Our HP compact power units are highly flexible in terms of their structural design, as various hydraulic controls can be realised by mounting control manifolds or function modules.

The smart compact power unit CO1S is used for fluid power supply in oil hydraulic systems in short-term operation and intermittent duty (S2, S3). It features high power density combined with small dimensions. The accumulator charging function enables the required system pressure to be maintained for a long period after the drive unit has been switched off. Continuous condition monitoring of the unit is achieved by means of integrated smart sensors. The continuous data exchange between the unit and the machine controller is performed via IO-Link communication – whether it’s condition monitoring, reporting that operating parameters are outside of the permitted limits or automatable accumulator closing pressure measurement for p0 assessment. The CO1S is the key to communication with your machine and a key component in total predictive maintenance (TPM).

The HYDAC EcoSwitch is a hydraulic control manifold combined with a double pump. The basic idea is to switch one of the double pump’s pump stages to depressurised circulation in the case of low requirements. The pump stage is switched from depressurised circulation to the system and vice versa on a hydraulic-mechanical basis by means of two valves: one pilot valve and a main control valve that opens and closes the connection to the tank. <br />For machines that cannot use the advantages of variable-speed control, HYDAC EcoSwitch provides a simple solution for reducing loss in the hydraulic system. Another advantage is that EcoSwitch does not need any electronics, sensors or software and can easily be integrated into the hydraulic system, for example via the high pressure carry-over (HPCO) in an open-centre system. The EcoSwitch is independent of the drive technology, which means that it can be integrated into a conventional machine.
