Dewatering
FAM dewatering units from HYDAC are used for dewatering, degassing and filtration of hydraulic and lubricating fluids in the bypass flow.
They work on the principle of vacuum dewatering to extract free and dissolved water as well as free and dissolved gases.
By using HYDAC Dimicron filter technology, with its high contamination retention capacity and filtration efficiency, the FAM is extremely cost effective.
All hire equipment is equipped with measurement equipment to continuously monitor the water content and the solid particle contamination as well as an integrated heater to increase the dewatering performance.
Simple and safe handling is ensured, thanks to the programmable memory control (PLC) of the Siemens S7 series which is used in combination with a Siemens operating panel in various national languages.

All of our hire equipment is suitable for mineral oils. Suitability for other fluids must be checked in individual cases.
